Katy Boardwalk District In Katy, TX
Katy Boardwalk District is Katy’s new lakefront destination replete with a full-service conference center hotel, luxury loft residences, 155,000 square feet of retail, dining and entertainment space, as well as approximately 60,000 square feet of office space, all anchored by a newly constructed 90-acre lake and nature preserve.
Located off of Kingsland Boulevard, just south of I-10 in Katy, Texas, Katy Boardwalk District will be an approximately 80-acre mixed-use development located within walking distance of the Typhoon Texas Waterpark and Katy Mills Mall.
Four-Star Conference Center Hotel
Katy Boardwalk District’s full-service four-star conference center hotel will have a minimum of 300 rooms, a specialty restaurant, bar, pool, and fitness center. The hotel, designed by Gensler, is expected to open in the fall of 2021 with construction beginning in the fall of 2019.
Luxury Loft Residences
The District will feature two phases of loft-residences. The first phase will consist of 319 units with two resort-style pools, state-of-the-art fitness center, resident lounge, business center, and outdoor cabanas and grilling areas. The lofts will be built by Sueba Construction, Inc. who plans to break ground in January 2019 and open in the spring of 2020.
Retail and Class A Office Space
Katy Boardwalk District will also feature approximately 155,000 square feet of retail space along with 60,000 square feet of Class A office space, all designed by Gensler. Leasing is currently underway represented by Lacee Jacobs of CBRE.
